In a world of fast and unrivaled progress, we increasingly find ourselves lacking the time to question life and everything that surrounds us. While in the past there existed the forum for thinkers to ponder consciousness or scientists to ponder existence, the speed and intensity of our current evolution has rendered these pursuits practically meaningless, and certainly more difficult. Overcome by constant questions about the mind, the stars, and the popularity of unified thought, this blog aims to reconstruct the near-ancient virtues of logic. Each week, our two writers will choose a topic and write a short essay from their own point of view- Elijah Xavier from physics, and August Feldner from philosophy, in an attempt to bring back the splendor and appreciation for thinkers like Sartre, Newton, Descartes and Feynman. You've come to the new crossroads of knowledge- you've come to the Pierian Fall.
